The Process
When we receive your booking we will telephone you to confirm details and we will contact the theatre to discuss with them all technical requirements. Theatre’s are normally very helpful, provided they know in advance our requirements.Following the filming, our editor will take the utmost care in the post production process, ensuring your DVD is of the highest quality.
A preview copy will be sent to you, usually within a week for you to approve and check the credits. Copies are than produced and despatched to the school.

The Filming
Our crew will arrive at the theatre at least two hours before the show to set up, working closely with the theatre staff to ensure all health & safety regulations are met. The show is filmed with two cameras, providing the best DVD you will have ever seen, close-ups of the performers, without spoiling the choreography and continuity of the show.Sound is not an issue, microphones are used to pick up the tap and audience, mixed with the audio from the theatre sound system. This provides the best of both worlds.

Post Production
The master video, recorded onto broadcast DV CAM, is transferred to our edit suite, where our editor removes any ‘black holes’ and scene changes. The sound is also checked, ensuring a perfect mix between the live and taped music. The credits are added at this point, listing all the cast (if required) and other credits.
DVD Authoring
The DVD is professionally mastered, with ‘chapters’ for every number. This is great for parents that want to see the number there child is in. The DVD’s are presented in library cases, with full colour artwork (where required) based around your prograamme cover.
